Asheville Childbirth Classes
Preparing for the birth of your baby is an exciting time!
But it can also be a very busy time. I understand that many expecting parents don’t have time to take a multi-session childbirth class. So I’ve packed a lot of information into this one-day class!
This class is Lamaze-based. That means that the information you learn is evidence-based and backed up by extensive research. The Lamaze organization looks at birth globally, and promotes healthy pregnancy, birth, and early parenting based on outcomes from all around the world.
Topics covered in this one-day class include: labor, delivery, comfort measures, hospital procedures and options, and the immediate postpartum period (diapering, swaddling, breastfeeding).
*New Refresher Class Available! This half day class will review labor, delivery and comfort measures. Each birth is different, honor this pregnancy and prepare for this delivery. Go into labor with a refreshed and open mind.
Class begins at 9:00 AM
Anatomy of Pregnancy
Signs of Preterm and Term labor

Lunch break is from 12:30 to 1pm
